After the encounter with the dogs Doc had a few new tricks, but a careless mistake did remind him of a previous issue. Acid blood makes it impossible to feed. Luckily he did have some solutions to this issue. Dipping his tail into some of his acid the effects were minor. The hard bone barely reacting. The issue was when it was taken into the body and in contact with soft tissue. It would react with the vitea itself preventing absorption. Doc took a seat and thought it over. Acids have certain universal properties. One of which is how it reacts to alkaline metals to produce new non-corrosive substances. Looking over his tail, the calcium would neutralize an acid but in something so dense it would be very slow. "What I need, is some kind of filter." Opening up the tail he got to work. Creating special channels and extremely fine spines of bone inside. Once it was done he tested it out. Absorbing some of his homemade acid into his tail. Then a moment later quickly pulling it away as it sprays out over the walls. "OW OW OW Pressure build up! Not pleasant!" Shaking the tail abit. "I need to make sure vent the gas build up." Modifying his tail further with a pressure release he tried again. A few unpleasant sounds but the fluid was successfully absorbed. Atleast until the tail started to essentially vomit because it wasn't actually vitea he was taking into himself. "Seemed to work, now just need to hope it will work on the real thing."
