On the way to the Weaver...

As the group travel into the rift portal Nyxy created, Yuki pauses her steps and faces Nyxy putting her hand up to stop her and Jack. Both stare at the woman curious to why she stopped them as the others travel the iron bridge towards the downtown area. "Is something a matter Yuki?" Nyxy asks her confused. The woman waits for the others to get further up then speaks gently. "You both did not get a chance at a proper goodbye." Both blink at her but Nyxy speaks "I said good by to Jack twice already Yuki." Yuki smirked at her "this time maybe it for us. And I noticed when you both were trying to talk about it, you were interrupted. I will lead the others towards the Weaver, take this time to speak to one and other. Jack frowned "There ain't much left to say is there?" Yuki smiled sweetly then frowned "many people waste an opportunity to share what they feel, this world is coming to an end soon. Do you really want your last moments to end without saying what you feel?" He blinked at her then looked down. "I thought not, Nyxy San take a few minutes here I will lead the others." Nyxy could only nod to her "okay Yuki I mean Grandmother." She smirked. Yuki smiled and bowed then left them heading up to the others. Drake looked back curiously as Yuki whispered to him what was going on. He gives a solemn nod and they lead the others away from the two.

"What in the hell is that all about?" Nyxy smirks at Jack's words "It's true we haven't really had any time to be alone in awhile, but honestly now is not the time. We do have some ass to kick." He nods "true I am itching to fight." Nyxy looks down and he cups her chin tilting her head up "thought I'll repeat what I said earlier, it did take me a long time to find someone like you Darlin. I have lived a lot longer than I thought, and I have seen some things. But no one like you." Nyxy smirked "I hope that is a compliment." He grinned "it is." Nyxy hugs him "my life was not the best, I am sure others had it worse. But I didn't start living till I met you Jack I really do love you. Despite everything that happened with Damien and the club I would not trade meeting you for anything. I just wish we had more time." Jack hugs her closer "so do I, more time and the other thing." Nyxy smirks "though lets face it id probably just drive you insane." This earns her a gut laugh "I've been there to Darlin, and it don't matter. All the time I existed on this Earth waiting for someone to make things feel less empty, you did that for me Darlin. Sure id love to have seen us go a few hundred years. But in the end you by my side is all I need no matter where it leads."

Nyxy buries her head in his chest and he rubs her back "let's go before I do something stupid." He mummers, Nyxy chuckles "I was thinking the same." He takes her hand "no matter what happens to us, if there is even a chance our spirits survive we will find each other." Nyxy smirks "maybe haunt something together eh?" He grin at her. Both lean in for a kiss then walk forward on the bridge towards the portal downtown.

Up ahead the others tread towards the door downtown...

"Snake sighed he had lingered behind curiously, he was not happy about any of this. It felt like everyone was making such a huge decision about his fate. He was not just some young man, he had a power within him. He noticed Kamiko staring his way and blinked. She paused her steps slightly as the others continued walking. "Something wrong?" Snake asked her softly. Kamiko smiled "I noticed your sadness, it is not easy to know what we will have to do to save the world." Snake shrugged "we do what we have to and Ms. Nyxy said this is what we need to do." Kamiko smiled "still you are brave for this." Snake grinned at her "you think I am brave?" She nods "I do." She leans in kissing his cheek gently. "Whoa wow ah..." Snake says softly and Kamiko chuckles "if there is a chance of us surviving this I hope we will get to know one and other better." He grins and nods to her "me to." He gives a soft chuckle. "Snake? Kamiko?" Yuki calls back and she smiles "let's go."

Aurora stares uneasy at Doc so much had happened, he turned himself into a monster. He consumed Ertai before her eyes. Still being next to him with the others felt right. "You know I am not going to let them kill the worm right?" She blinks "oh and how do you plan to stop all of them?" Doc grins "I have my ways, besides I need more time." Aurora stares at him "more time for what?" Doc shrugged "I have done things, some I am fine with others, not so much. I need at least a chance to show you that while I can be a monster there is more. I know after seeing me eat Ertai and my new form there is a chance you find me, unsettling but I believe this form will lead to something great. And Id like you to be around to see it." Aurora smirked at him "your ego knows no bounds." Doc grinned at her "I am just saying this lore stuff has some merit, perhaps I am the key to it all being okay." She shakes her head but walks with him unsure why but feeling oddly comfortable around him again...

Jolene sighed her sister was dead, her father to. The coterie was all she had left and even then everyone had someone. She noticed Snake and the servant girl. Aurora was with Doc, and of course Nyxy and Jack lingered behind. It was not that she was jealous of any of them. She just wondered if she would ever find...Mathias walked along side her. "You know I never got to say thanks for the help you gave after the stand got attacked. Jolene smiled "no worries I was more than happy to help." Mathias smirked "yeah I'm sure. You know I was warned you are nothing but trouble." Jolene smiled sweetly "who me?" He grinned "well I just happen to like trouble, but we are about to go die so." Jolene sighed "yeah." Mathias hits her shoulder the now large woman blinks at him "come on we ain't going to die, this shit is going bad but we will find a way. And when we do perhaps we will get to know one and other a bit better." He smacks her ass and walks ahead. Jolene shivered but smiled feeling a little more hopeful.

Yuki sighed watching them then stared at Drake, the two of them had a lot on their hands with this group. Like Drake she kept her feelings inward she had to focus on the task at hand. Terra looked on edge as well, all of them were feeling the severity of the situation. Drake glances over at her, "it was good of you to give those two time to talk. I did not think it was possible for our kind to feel genuine affection." Yuki nods "I was of the same thought, but when you live long enough you learn anything is possible." Drake smirked "true enough." Yuki glanced back just as they kissed "many women in my family fell off the path of honor due to not understanding what love is. Id like to see one of us get it right." Drake nods to her "understandable." They come up towards the door to downtown and Drake says with his mind "if there is a chance..." Yuki speaks back "if there is we will go from there lets focus on the task at hand." Both nod with a slight smile.
