My name is Vincent Drake. That's Mr. Drake to you. I am the sole owner and CEO of Drake enterprises, the first and only new corporation since the 2020's. My quick thinking and ruthless business strategies have taken the corporate old-timers by surprise, and I intend to continue devouring their markets as they watch on, helpless and weak..
If you'll excuse me, I seem to have worked up an appetite.. care to do lunch?

Drake family history
For centuries, the Drake family had lived in the English countryside, ruling over the lives of Kine from a distance. They were the proprietors of a small village that considered them to be harsh yet protective masters. For generations, the Drake family had been lead by their ancestors who had been embraced once every 7 generations. Vincent Drake was being groomed to be the next embraced when the great plague ravaged Europe. The small township of Drakenshire was not spared from the disease.
A young man named William lived in Drakenshire, and had already lost his wife and daughters to the plague. When William found out that his only son had been stricken with the disease, his heart sank. The plague had already taken everything else that William cared about, and now he would lose his son, as well. He was desperate. He had heard rumors that the Drake family were in fact Vampires, and he hoped against all odds that they might be able to help.
William approached the patriarch of the Drake family, Cornelius. Willaim's plead for help was quickly denied, as Cornelius assured him that the family were not actually vampires. Defeated and hopeless, William headed to the local tavern to drown his sorrows. After a few drinks, William noticed some strange looking people come in. They walked to the bar and began asking questions about the rumors of Vampires controlling the town. The tavern keeper told the strangers about the Drake family, and they were on their way.
Fortunately for the Drake family, William knew of a shortcut to their manor. He ran as fast as he could to warn the strangers who had come to town, and arrived shortly before the strangers. He told Cornelius about the people that were on their way up to the manor. Cornelius told the family to prepare for battle, and went to retrieve his sword. When the strangers arrived, a fierce battle ensued. During the battle, Cornelius' vampiric nature was revealed to William.
After the battle concluded and the hunters were dead, Cornelius thanked William for his assistance. In return for keeping the family's secret, Cornelius agreed to heal William's son, but on one condition; William's son would live with the family as a servant, and would never see his father again. Reluctantly, he agreed. William's son was brought to the manor, where Cornelius fed the boy some of his blood. Shortly after, the son was revitalized, but the disease had rendered him unable to speak.
William's son was then assigned as Vincent's servant, and would remain so for the rest of his unnatural life. William's son was renamed Jeeves, and spent his every waking moment serving Vincent. Over the years, the two became very close. Jeeves attended Vincent's wedding, and was given the esteemed role of "best man". At the birth of Vincent's son, Jeeves was the first non-family to meet the new addition. Shortly after, Drake was embraced, and became the new head of the Drake household.
Several years later, Drake's son was murdered by a highwayman while trying to stop the robbery of a travelling gypsy. Vincent son was the last of the family's bloodline, leaving Vincent to suffer an eternity alone, save for the company of his faithful servant.
