Oiishi Employee Handbook version 1.5
So you want to be an employee of Oiishi fine treats? If you are reading this manual you have made it passed the first two interviews and suprisingly can read. Which means you are a permanent member of our company. As such there are certain roles and guidelines you will want to follow to move up within the company or just plain keep your job.
Attendance:
This is simple if you are supposed to be at work, be at work. If you miss a shift you may find yourself replaced. There are plenty of people who want where you are at so calling in "slick" if you are not really sick will not be tolerated. All sick employees will be referred to our company's private physician. We found that just the thought of going to him makes our employees feel amazingly in good health and spirits.
***
We will only tolerate being late 3 times, since this shop requires regular deliveries of product being on time is important. If you are late more than three times you are saying "my time is more important than yours" and we don't need you.
Appearance and Attire:
We at Oiishi understand that many of our employees do not have the means starting out to wear the best clothing. But we will ask you to make a particular effort to cover bad odors. Especially in the presence of the owner. If you can be clean do it, it may be the thing that keeps you employeed.
Theft
Don't do it, bad things happen if you are caught stealing from this company..seriously.
Sampling
Like theft the owner does not wish for her employees to sample any of the special product. While treats will be provided to bring home at the end of your shift, do not get caught using any of the special product while on shift. You have been warned.
Other assigned tasks
From time to time you maybe asked to do other tasks for our company which will require you to deal with business associates of the owner. Here is a basic break down of who you may interact with and how you should act. Acting unaccording to this guide may get you into some dangerous trouble...Once again you have been warned.
Doc- The doctor is a strange fellow but he has a business dealing with our company to provide the delivery of our snacks to his shop. He may offer you things as "free exams" especially prostate. You are allowed to politely turn that and any offers of "Juice" down, in fact the owner instructs you to say "No."
Dee- From time to time you maybe required to pick up items from this associates shop, under no circumstances are you to open any boxes she gives you. You are also instructed not to ask too many noisy questions and unless initiated by her do not engage her in boring conversations, just pick up the items and bring them back to the shop.
Jolene- This goes for both Male and Female employees, from time to time you will have to pick up materials from farm land owned by this associate, do not engage in flirting or sexual activities with this business contact. This is your only warning on this.
Snake- You probably will not deal directly with this associate if you are lucky to see him leave him alone, he is probably only around to see the owner.
Vincent Drake- A VIP if Mr. Drake shows up around the shop or if you are sent for some reason to get something from him, you are to be on your best behavior. If you are not..well you can be replaced.
Jack- In a rare instance if the owner's friend is around you are to avoid eye contact and do not engage in conversation with this individual. If he smirks at you it could mean he is either amused or you are a dead individual. If for some reason you have to run a message or errand for the owner and he is present, state your purpose and leave. Like Mr. Drake he is a VIP associate of the owner.
There maybe others but for now this is the guidelines of your manual. Your individual tasks be them Cook/Delivery/Sales or Other will be dependant on how well you do your intial tasks. If you show aptitude you will move up. If you do not you will be replaced.
Welcome to the Oiishi
