It has been a long hard journey. If feels like we've been here for centuries. Having to ration what little blood we have, we've resorted to using rats. I think Dee is starting to break, looking at me with hunger in her eyes. Though she is cunning. She knows of my strength and power. Her plans dashed as she witnessed me slay fifteen feral vampires single handedly. Still desperation will eventually set in. Luckily today a werewolf pack leader agreed to donate some blood after I bested him in arm wrestling. I know its not fair, but I did give him a handicap In the end he respected my raw talent and offered to turn over the tribe to me but I politely declined. He was an honorable pack leader, but told him I might some day return and ask a fair of him. Sadly we couldn't stay for the festival in my honor but we had to continue our long trek. It shouldn't be too much longer. Once we are at the shore I will be able to use my great craftsmanship to construct a vessel for use.
Aurora put down the journal. "Umm Doc, I thought this was supposed to be autobiographical. We've only been out here two days." Doc gives a small cough. "I may have taken a few artistic liberties. I mean I did defeat that one wild beast." Dee chimes in "it was a squirrel" "A VERY MENACING SQUIRREL. You both are just lucky I was here."
