Doc extended his arm out to the cloth. Pure vitae flowing into it. Melding with the fabric. With a quick tug the material ripped. A mere thought restoring it. "Now we just need it to do that on its own." Again and again he tore the cloth. Mere adjustments to his thoughts failed to make it reflexive. Aurora spoke up, "I think you'll need to try a different method."
Doc's eyes looked it over. His inhuman perception noticing flaws forming with each regeneration. "Thats not the only issue. Since I'm wearing the clothes the vitae gets cycled through my body. But small bits of it are used to fuel the regeneration. Over time it leaves tiny imperfections. Meaning this wouldn't work long term. What we need is a catalyst." The doctor turned tailor sat down. Thinking the process over. Musing on the nature of vitae and through this he hit inspiration. "I have it. We need a trigger. A trigger that will double as the fuel." Quickly he got to work on an alchemic compound to treat the fabric when he mixed in his vitae. Ripping the cloth. "Ok now we need to make sure it will work for other kindred. Aurora if you please"
She cut into her finger and a single drop of blood fell onto the clothes. The vitae Doc laced into the thread quickly absorbed it. Restoring itself to its original state. Grabbing the cloth and looking it over "and that small bit of blood was enough to prevent any loss of vitae. Perfect. Not quite as good as mine but atleast it doesn't require any conscious effort on my part. I'll get working on the dresses next."
With that Doc worked long into the night. Fighting to keep himself up as he hobbled to bed. The sun already up. With a yawn he crawled in, only for his eyes to shoot open from an unpleasant sensation coming over him. Once it passed he grinned. "Well thats good to know." Falling into his daily slumber.
